This is a method of accessing the graphics card memory, and nearly all modern graphics cards are compatible with it, so you can select Yes. However, if after completing these steps you find that you still have problems with your display, start again from step 1 and choose not to use the framebuffer. Keyboard and Mouse Configuration Although your keyboard and mouse might be just fine, X.org handles the input devices as well as the graphics subsystem, and you now need to reconfigure them.
